In the penultimate episode from Hay Festival, joining Mariella from The Book Show festival are Diamond Dagger award-winning novelist Val MacDermid who’s on the case of Agatha Christie; Hugh Ambrose, author of the book accompanying recent Sky TV hit ‘The Pacific’; and New Yorker editor and Pulitzer Prize winner David Remnick jets in to talk Barack Obama.
Adding further sparkle to today’s dazzling line-up, there’ll also be music from the impossibly talented classical pianist James Rhodes.
