Bonnie Greer
Bonnie Greer's favourite line from a book comes from Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities
“‘It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness. It was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity. It was a season of light, it was a season of darkness. It was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair. We had everything before us. We had nothing before us.’
This is the beginning of a book that I know all of you know, this is Charles Dickens ‘A Tale of Two Cities’ and this one’s through my head almost all the time, and it really accurately describes our time now, and talks to us right now, which I guess is the very definition of a masterpiece.”
