What's on my bedside table: Katie Fforde

Katie Fforde

Show 13: the romantic novelist on her current top reads...

Described by The Independent as “Jilly Cooper for the grown-ups”, Katie Fforde’s books are largely humorous, romantic (and extremely successful ) novels, and the books currently propping up her bedside table are not that far removed from her own work…

"I like to read every spare moment I have; I read in bed, in the bath; in the loo; upstairs, downstairs, and sometimes even when I'm cooking. My most favourite time to read is in bed, in the morning, so you're not tired, but you're very comfortatable: that's a real treat."
