"I came here in 1965 and have run the place since 1974, and in 2003 I was asked to find something to celebrate Nancy Mitford's centenary. So, I'd like to recommend this collection of letters between Nancy Mitford and her friend Heywood Hill. They were both extremely good letter writers - they filled their letters with gossip, jokes and what they were doing and it was great fun to edit. I think a lot of people would find this enjoyable and I would like to think that that enjoyment had been passed on..."
